Daniel AnTon Johnson is a New York-based photographer and filmmaker. With a background in fine art and writing, his approach is notable for being conceptually oriented and expansive. Drawing from many bases of knowledge, he works beginning-to-end to create compelling visual stories.

Daniel has a dry sense of humor that drives his desire to challenge the expected, toy with narratives, and render old ways of thinking obsolete. He does this through a collaborative process that adapts quickly and breaks through limitations. Technically proficient, his work is known for tearing down, fragmenting and reconstructing the human form in order to reveal the truth of his subjects.

He has lectured at the School of Visual Arts, Rutgers University Newark and Adelphi University.

Among his clients are: Susan Grant Lewin Associates, g-MEO China, Junior Achievement of New York, Artis and others.
